Begin your quest at our beautiful City Hall,
with touches of marble on each wall.
This city hall is not the first to occupy this space. After burning down in 1901, this one was built in its place.
Turn the corner and walk east up Washington Street to the marble side entrance, isn’t it neat? Architectural details are all here to view,
with keystones, pediments, and entablatures too.
Look across the street at our next stop.
To get there, walk to the corner (or hop!)
Cross on over to the northerly side
walk down the hill; if it’s icy, don’t slide!
